Hi everyone,

Did anybody have any flu like symptoms before a bfp? I’ve been aching head to toes since Friday eve. Also a very sinus pressured headache. I had the worst cold and sore throat that I’ve had for a longtime. Also spiking prickly heat feelings but no temp.
I don’t temp at all, but have previously take opk’s so I’m pretty sure I ovulated on Friday 13th. I’ve had to call in sick for work, which I normally soldier on, but this has beaten me. Right in time for the school holidays yey!
No body else in my family has it, kids and husband have escaped it again!

I’m too scared to test. We’ve been trying for no.3 now for 11 months. I feel first cycles with my other sons.
I have a little bit of breast tenderness but not majorly.

I’m 10dpo today.

Xx

The two times I’ve gotten pregnant I had flu symptoms in my 2ww! Sore throat, achy and general feeling that I was coming down with something, prob from about 7dpo to about 11dpo, I’ve read that your body disables your immune system so it doesn’t reject the egg, good luck!

I had this a couple of weeks ago with my bfp so fingers crossed for you!!

I posted a similar thread but then I knew something was up the next day as I had backache and I’ve never had that other than my first pregnancy!

Someone replied it’s to do with immune system being weaker as helps prevent body resisting against implantation or something xxx

I got a sore throat and blocked up nose before each bfp. Your immune system is weaker in pg as all your powers go to baby! Might be a fluke but fx for you x
