Has anyone had theirs yet? Does it give nasty side affects? I hardly ever get colds and if I do it's always around November/December time and yesterday I got struck with the cold and its bloody awful so I'm feeling very sorry for myself :( although I've been assured baby is ok I still hate feeling poorly cuz I think it might be harming baby :( x x

Theres a flu jab thread in preg chat and I put a leaflets worth of info near the end x

it was quicky easy and painless so was glad i had it done, no side effects either x

I've had mine, like 1986princess said, it's very quick and painless. The only slight side effect I had was a little bit of pain in my arm, but it was just like a bruise so only hurt if I pressed it! So just don't press on the spot where it is done!

I had mine done yesterday at my 36 week check... and I really am the biggest idiot ever because I had it in my left arm... which is the hand I write with and the side I have to sleep on... Im an idiot because she even said which arm should I do :wall2: lol x

Just had mine a few hours ago and at the moment all I've got is a bit of a sore patch on my arm!

had mine done a couple of hours ago and just a sore arm at the mo if I press on it :)

Had mine done a couple of hours ago - wasn't even convinced they did anything! Not painful at all!

Do you have to have the flu jab done?? Do all pregnant women have to and is it always near the end? Does it depend on what time of year it is? I feel weak thinking of it and I'm only WTT! Do you have to have any other jabs when you're pregnant or when you're WTT or TTC?? Worried now

Just remembered someone said they posted some info so I'll look into that now.

all pregnant women should get the flu jab at the start of autumn before flu season hits. its just safer

Omg lol. Ah well. It's nothing compared to labour. My MIL says labour feels like your intestines are being pulled out and shoved back in again and again! Nice  and apparently she said you're not allowed to scream while giving birth cos you'll scare the other women in the ward...you gotta be quiet :x she has had three children and the youngest, my husband, being 27 years ago now so maybe (hopefully) things have changed and I can yell my head off!! Sorry went off the subject there for a bit.

lol hun you should watch a few episodes of one born every minute, its never the same as what you imagine and if your gonna scream how can they stop you lol, its just that screaming is a waste of energy that you could be using to push out baby lol

I had the flu jab yesterday they did it while I was telling the doctor how far along I was, my OH didn't even have time to nip to the shop and get a paper. I've had no problems whatsoever with it :)

I had mine Thursday afternoon, I woke up Friday morning and my arm was so sore! I also felt really crap in myself... but no cold or anything! The crap feeling I am putting down to pregnancy not the jab as we all have up and down days! I'm glad I had mine done, I still don't feel to good but I had days like this BEFORE I had the jab! Also my arm only hurts now if I poke it lol x x
