8 weeks to go who's getting the flu jab?

I was searching this last night - I don't think this seasons flu jab has been released yet has it? I'm now a day overdue so will have it as soon as it's available after baby's born and hope he gets some antibody protection through my breast milk. No point getting last years one as the strains of flu change each year and are manufactured accordingly - so i would def wait until this years has been released if I were you. Have you had whooping cough jab though? (Saw an article that said they are expecting a bad year of it again this year ...)
Xxx

Last year it was released on 9th October here in Ireland, it might be around the same in the UK

I had it, made my arm numb and sore for a few days but besides that all was fine :) xxx

Think I'll get it again, probably late October :)

I was told our surgery will receive their delivery of it on the 5th October this year, so I'm going to queue up for it on the day

My docs is already doing it and have been for the past two weeks. Think I'll go in the morning as they do a drop in session until 1pm. Yeah I've already had whooping cough one. Ouch!

Perks of working in the NHS we get an email to go down in rooms to have ours.

I get mine every year.

I will be. Husband has asthma so I can't afford to give him the flu either. After knowing a perfectly healthy 27 year old die from flu, if the jab is offered I'll always take it

I got it wrong girls my docs is not starting the jab until next week. Good job I checked or I would have looked like a right idiot turning up to the reception today ha ha

I was told not to worry as I'll be missing flu season. I think I had it right at the end of October last time
