Eeek am totally honoured to be doing Fliss's labour thread. Induction today today and just had her first update:
Hurray! 3 cm and waters bulging so waiting for bed on delivery unit where it will be straight to popping waters. Getting mild irregular contractions after assessment.
Yay no prostaglandin! That would have been a right yawn fest!
Got to have iv antibiotics before waters popped which they're just getting started now. Looking like this will be a long day... Even with the nudge nothing much happening on its own but I am on delivery suite now
Waters gone and getting some proper full on contractions now. Hopefully will do this without the drip..
Baby is here! No name or weight yet but baby boy is here and all doing well. Had a lovely pic of them all and she said it was quick. I'll update more once I know and congrats Fliss what amazing news xxx (PS no idea how to update the title)
