I was with my ex for 17 years and in all that time his mother never pronounced my name right, it's not even a dificult name, we got seperate xmas cards and once when we had a fight and he hurt me quite badly she threatned that if I went to the police she's have me 'done over'!

she was like Peggy Mitchell!!!!

I'd suggest next time she phones just leave the phone and walk off, dont hang up just walk away, I used to do this to my ex and he'd be ranting to air!

I know that if my mil was that bad I would have cut all ties with her. You don't need that sort of behaviour right now.

I am sorry to say this but I wouldn't want her to have anything to do with my child and would do everything in my power to only give her supervised contact. If she can speak to you like that, imagine what she could say infront of your son/daughter.

She doesn't deserve to be there after the way she has treated you. Your OH will just have to accept that it is a private moment between the two of you and that his mum just has to accept this and both be respectful of your wishes. xx

Cheers for replys ...please can no one else post I am angry and upset and dont need the extra digs about language and tickers, this is a forum for peoples opinions I understand that but dont need off topic flames.

midna I have mentioned your signature picture before, if you don't want people commenting on it I suggest you remove it, it's not very nice and not something people want to see on the forum. I can't say I blame them for saying something TBH.

well perhaps if you watched your language and didnt display a picture of a demonic child on a BABY forum peple wouldnt feel the need to comment. It was offensive! people are here to help and support but i must say i was reading your post and i couldnt actually cionnect with your problem as all i could think was how foul the language was!
