What was your little ones first word(s)? Daniel has a long way to go before he starts talking, lol, but we have noticed that over the past week he has become a lot more vocal :D

George can say Ow
just a random noise to him but to me he's a genius :rotfl:

My first son and daughter said Dada first but my second son said Nana! We were on holiday in Tunisia and he was crying for his nana!   lol

First word "Dada"
Second Word "Mama"
Third word "No" :rotfl:

I think were going for "hi" and "hello" just now!

Depends if you mean first word or first sound that we interpreted intoa word!!! His first proper word was Dad but when he was a few months old he kept saying a sound that my OH said was the name of an Arsenal football player!!!! It did sound like it too :rotfl:

Isaac's first was 'Mama' :) I didn't believe he associated it with me, but his Daddy and Grandma think he does as he does it lots when I leave him with them

Lydia's first babble-word was mama (her first 'real' word was hello)

Alex's first babble-word was dada

First babble words mamma and dadda but didnt associate the with us. First words with meaning all came out in a week, Juice, Sexy, Ta! (he says juice with o and s though like joose and sexy with an s so sesy) He says the word sexy I think cause its mine and OH's pet names for each other and we say it to each other all the time and didnt realise! Now that he said Dirty as well its not looking good pmsl

mummum then ta, then dada for paris, followed by all gone and more :rotfl:

Arianna's was "Maammmm" and she still shouts for me that way!

Tia never really made any progression from babbling to speaking... but no, mama and that (sounded like at) were really the most noticeable words she managed... she was probably saying them for ages too but had to have lots of practice first...

lil miss will say hi, hello and hey... when you say it to her... but shes just repeating the sounds rather than speaking...she also speaks fluent martian like the aliens speak in Mars Attacks...gack being something really important. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: lil miss is extremely vocal... she has even stopped crying... she grumbles and shouts martian to me now :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Dylan has been saying Mum for a few weeks now - I thought it was just a sound he was making but he shouts it at me, especially when I'm out of his sight or upset. My mum & dad have heard him too and say he's definetely saying it but I'm still not sure as he's a bit young

mark said dada first then hi before mama. grace shouts mama, especially during the night if she wakes. every now and again she says dada but thats all for now.

Ani just says aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaa and eeeeeeeee at different pitches, with the odd oooo thrown in. I am beginning to worry...
My Oh says she says mmmmMMMmmm when she is eating, but she still seems to be behind everyone else around here...

Lisa

Summer say's mum mum mum mum mum she can't say it just once she has to say it over and over again :rotfl:

She also says baba and mar which means more
