Hi just after a bit of advice, according to 3 apps & my own calculations I was due to ovulate yesterday/today. Yesterday had very very faint line on opk, then this morning darker but not as dark as control line, then this evening it's even fainter again. Does this mean I've missed it? Thanks xx

Hey wish I could help you but a similar thing happened to me, I had a faint 2nd line on an OPK then yesterday another faint line but way fainter than the first one, so I dont know whats going on!! I will do another one today and see whats happening with it.

I think it can depend on what time you test at and the levels in your urine can vary at different points throughout the day. If I dont get BFP this time I might fork out with the more expensive O kits.
But as soon as I see EWCM I try to DTD as much as possible for about a week or so to give it a chance.x

I've never used OPKs before (first cycle :oooo: post BC starting soon) but I've heard that for some women it doesn't really work. I know that you can go by the three primary fertility signs (BBT, CF and CP) to plan when the best time is to DTD. I'm going to try OPKs once I have a better idea of how my cycle works and when I most likely will ovulate. FX that you haven't missed O this month!

although i didnt get pregnant using them, i did find the lines differed in darkness through the day. i tried to do 3 a day. I used the One Step OPKs from amazon. I got 50 of them and 5 pregnancy tests for like £5/6. They are the same ones used by the NHS so they cant be too bad. Its a good indicator to show your fertile period, so just try to get a much baby making in as you can x
