First scan advise please

i just got my appointment for my first scan and it says i have to see the doctor too, is this normal, is it because of my age or because of my rhesus status, bit worried,

please someone talk me through what they do.

Good luck hun! I am under a consultant cos I have an over active thyroid, I am actually glad he he, like graci said best for them to be over cautious than not give a toss! I am sure ur scan will be awesome!
