First round of clomid questions..

Hello ladies on CD12 atm, no positive opk yet.

Temp took a nose dive on CD10 thought that might have been it but its looking like it wasnt.

Ive never gotten a true pos opk before ever, but yesterday morning they did seem like they were darkening up, but have been getting lighter ever since. Have I missed my surge?

Trying to BD every other day, dtd CD7,10 going to try and dtd tonight when hubby gets home.

If you ovulated on clomid, what days did you get a positive OPK and then ovulate?

I took clomid CD2-6. So started opks on CD9.

I think temp dip duff reading.

Do you temp orally? Do you take it twice and discard the first reading?

I did 2-6 (and did 3-7 a couple of time too) and ovulated between cds 20-25 if I remember correctly.

Are you getting follicle tracking scans?

Oh also I got my pos opks around 4pm and then ovulate later on that evening (very obvious pains with 6 out of 7 cycles, the other one I think I ovulated in my sleep so didn't notice). I was 34. The older you get the sooner after a pos opk you tend to ovulate.

Thanks snowbee. Yeah im temping orally. Took your advuce this morning (forgot to reply last night) i took my temp twice this morning with very different reqdings, first was 96.61, then straight after was 96.11. Not sure which to go with? Xx

Also not not getting tracking scans, just been told keep temping and to have bloods a week after a temp shift?

Go with the second reading. Take it right after the first (I never took it out my mouth to look, just reset and did again).

I really recommend getting scans, go private if they aren't offered. Costs approx 180 for as many scans as you need for one cycle. Then you know for sure if it is working and if the dose is correct. Takes all the guess work away.

So, inputting my temp again today and now there's another massive dip? Or maybe my temp should always be around that snd its just because I wasnt taking me temp twice?
