so tonight is Ollys first night in his big boy bed. New and delivered today with his favourite minions on the duvet cover.

Wish me luck

Xx

Good luck hun!

Cam took to his like a duck to water although it did take him a while to figure out that he could get out of it on his own!

Good luck! It went well for us too - hopefully it'll be the same for you :-)

Aww good luck! Hope Olly loves his new bed. Let us know how it goes xx

Good luck!! I don't dare take the plunge just yet! X

I took the plunge Monday and he's taken to it fantastically :) !!! Good luck xx

So glad it is going well. I am dreading the day I have to move my daughter to a bed, she is a little monkey and I just don't think she would stay in it lol x

Oooh goodl luck! Looking forward to hearing how it goes. Were just back from holiday and R was in a bed! He went down ok but had the patter of little feet in the middle of the night! 😝

It went great :-) ran from the bathroom and jumped into it, said nite nite mam bed now haha. Woke at 10.30 crying for me, I think he was confused as to where he was but went straight back to sleep. Woke at 6.20 this morning. Doesn't understand that he can get out himself !!
Went so much better than I expected. He keeps pointing to the cot in his room and I am telling him it's for the baby xx

How old is he?

Everyone - How old were your children when you moved them to a big bed?
X

He was 2 on the 20th June, slept through last night and woke at 7am.
Had a little crying last night when hubby tried to put him to bed, I said to hubby that I let him get into bed
Himself then say night night and turn the light off. Hubby tried to rock him to sleep ??!! Which I think confused him so I had to go up and intervene. I said to hubby that it's a new thing to him and he has to make the choice to go in himself otherwise he just will hate it, hubby's away for 3 nights so I should have it down to a T when he comes home.
It's unreal what you can talk toddlers into haha

Xx

We moved Cam a few months before his second birthday.

He's got a guard on the side though so he can't fall out.

Thanks guys, I was interested because my 17 month old will move around all night and we seem miles from a bed!! X
