I have been with my partner for 8 years, I stopped taking the pill two years ago and we've not been using protection since. This month we decided we were going to properly try for a baby.

I have just started taking Sanatogen - Mother To Be. I didn't know which one to buy, I went for this one as it was in the middle of the price range, and had the recommended amount of Folic Acid. What does everyone else take? Any views on this one?

Hi hun,

Welcome to the wonderful world of TTC

I think mother to be vitamins have Folic Acid in them already but there is no harm in taking additional Folic Acid.

As you have been NTNP for two years have you considered using OPK's to help predict when you are about to ovulate?

Other than Folic Acid I have never taken anything BUT I did use OPK's.

Best of luck

xxxxxxx

Thanks!

As it's only our first serious month, I just want to see how we get on by ourselves, if I start getting into all that now I think I'll just stress myself out!
