First Midwife appointment..

Today, wow they don't half ask a lot of questions! And the amount of reading material I have now is immense! The OH is going through one of the booklets as I type this, bless him =]

She's lovely, which is always a bonus. Feel a bit more prepared, still very daunted though, there is so much to take in! It also feels a lot more real now, aaah excited and scared at the same time, really buzzing! Also had my first wave of MS today at 6 in the morn, wasn't actually sick but I felt so ill! So maybe not as lucky as I thought lol.

Got to go for my bloods in 2wks and she's going to book my first scan for me, don't know what date yet though. Really can't wait to see the the little bean for the first time!

Gosh yeh! I only just had mine yesterday! The amount of reading etc is mega but the nhs pregnancy book is amazing

Glad all went well hun, I'm dreading my bloodwork passed put last time I had an injection so god noes what I'll be like when they take blood out!! Xx

Yer I realise now that it was early for the midwife after reading some of the books, I think it's mainly due to the fact that she's one of four midwives that cover the whole of Anglesey so they're busy busy all the time! Maybe it was the soonest they could fit me in without it being too late, if that makes sense lol!

I'm about five weeks - when do you hear from the midwife? I've seen my GP who said she'd refer me but haven't heard anything since...

I have my midwife app on the 7th June and will only be 5 weeks at that stage - I just rang the doctor said about having 2 positives and he put me through to the nurses - am I going too early?

You normally hear off the midwife at about 10 weeks.

My first appointment is for Friday when i will be 11 weeks. Then another a week and three days later when i will be 12.5 weeks, I hope its not too late?!?
