First drs appointment

Got my drs appointment today after being positive on hpt so bit nervous what they are going to say? Worried they will say something bad what was your ladies dr appointment like?

Mine was a very brief visit, the dr confirmed my due date and told me things I should avoid eating and then said she would refer me to the midwife. I saw the midwife when I was 8 weeks pg.

Hi. Mine just asked if I had any questions and then gave me a copy of Emma's diary.

She referred me to midwife and I have my first appointment at 12 weeks.

My doctors app was a little pointless because I was just told everything I already knew.
Had.midwife app last week (8 weeks)

Firstly - congratulations!

Re doctors - mine didn't tell me anything at all, or give me any info, he vaguely decided I was 4 weeks at the end of last week. I got a prescription for folic acid. Now waiting on Midwife appointment on 14th.

Thanks guys, I had my appointment, did seem pretty pointless didn't say how Pregnant I am just asked a few questions and told me to book a midwife appointment for 2-3 weeks time, but hey hi it's something to look forward to
