Doctors appointment is usually a quick 'congratulations' (asked me first if this was a planned PG, very wise, covering her bases) took my BP, worked out my due date from my LMP and said to book in with the MW from 8 weeks PG onwards as they don't do booking in before then.
They often don't bother testing again and take you at your word. They use the same tests as we buy so its no biggie.
Either you will then need to book in with MW later on or she will contact you and arrange your booking in appointment. Thats mostly paperwork also and nothing else is done before 12 weeks as a rule.
