First contraction

Just trying to figure out what I just felt...

My belly went rock hard all over accompanied with strongish period pain on my lower belly. That was about an hour ago...


Was it just a strong BH, I've had nothing since.

I think bh and very early contractions feel really similar x

That sounds like a contraction but may just be a BH if you've had none since.
I've been getting them strong every night for past few nights, but they die off when I go to sleep.
If you get them regular & closer together - maybe baby on their way!!! Xxx

This is my 4th but my BH are really really painful take my breath away sometimes so it could of just been one.

You would think i would know the start of labour now but even with my 3rd I wasn't sure until they got painful and I was like ok this is it, because they start mild can but far of close apart and feel like period pains in the early stages it is hard to tell if it's the really thing. But wants they really kick in you will know lol

Quite often with real contractions you can feel pain all over your tummy & back too xxx

Thanks ladies! I've had BH throughout but no pain came with it...I am going to assume this was a BH that was a little stronger!
