Sorry dudnt know where else to put this.

The fireworks are already going off and they so loud I can hear them (i'm deaf)

Has this caused a prob with your LOs sleeping? I'm sitting here  he doesn't wake up

I never minded fireworks but this year I mind them very much!!

Helen

I was worrying about this myself last night, they were really loud, but no she slept through the lot. Praying the same happens again tonight

A colleague of mine was celebrating in the office as yesterday was Diwali, the India 'Festival of lights'. She told me it's pretty much their new years eve and so fireworks etc are common way to celebrate!! So that's probably what it was!

Willow slept through them last year, im not expecting the same this year though

I was worried about them this year but Amber doesn't seem bothered by them. Think most babies aren't really bothered by noise to be honest

Charoltte ahs never been bothered and never woken up. The smoke alrarm is right outside her room and she doesn't wake up for that either (goes off fairly frequently in our house). Don't worry :D

Funny how my LO isn't woken up by fireworks  but is woken up by my friend's one year old screaming for her dinner  Lo is used to noise in the house mostly because i'm deaf and can't hear how much noise I'm making   and my DH is also noisy cos that's just what he's like, yet he wakes up with my friend's LO and not with fireworks. I don't understand the logic in that

Isaac hated them last year and was very disturbed by them it was a nightmarem but Ophelia isn't bothered by them at all, she wakes when she wants to  I think lots of LO's cry when they hear another LO crying, though I may be wrong? Isaac used to do it all the time, and he did when Ophelia was born but luckily he doesn't get upset now when she cries, just tries to rock her  Glad to hear he's sleeping through them, very best wishes
