Hi, just been reading a few of your diarys and thought i would do one as well...

I hope you dont mind me doing this, thought it would be good for somewhere for me to tell you anything that happens from now on...


I found out i was pregnant on the 13th november, my last period being 20th october and starting the pill late september, to say it was a shock was very true, in fact i cried because i didnt want another baby, i had 2 beautiful boys, and my last pregnancy was very risky for me, they found out i had a heart condition and said another pregnancy would be bad..
Anyway i went to the gp's 3 days after doing 4 home tests to confirm i was expecting,

I got through xmas 2006 like a breeze, i was disapointed as i couldnt have a drink, but still it was worth it, by now i had finally got round the idea i was having another baby..

When i was 9 weeks pregnant i started to get some really bad pain in my side, so off we trotted to the hospital, where i was booked in for internals and a scan, i was gonna see my baby..
8th january i got to see my baby, and it was waving to me, how sweet is that, it was like saying mummy im here are you happy..

i was so happy they thought the baby might have been growing in the wrong place, you would never belive how relieved i was when they said all was ok and it was just pregnancy pain i was experiencing...

Pregnancy was all going fine and then when i was 13 weeks i started to bleed it was scary, i thought this was it, i didnt want the baby when i first found out so now im loosing it...

so in we went for another scan on 5th febuary, this time i didnt get good news, my baby wasnt growing as it should, and my placenta wasnt doing its job as it should, i was asked to terminate my pregnancy, obviously very upset at the news we went home, talked about it and decided this baby was coming for a reason, there was no way we was going to end its life on the say so of the hospital

I started to relish in my pregnancy, told my employer i was expecting and broke the news to stunned family,

I have also just had another scan which was my 20 week scan and was told im having a boy, and the earlier problems we was told we had had suddenly dissapeared, i was so frustrated, i could have aborted my baby for nothing...

Well now im 22 weeks and 1 day, baby is going wild and im starting to feel really good, im not worried anymore..

Aww I love reading these diaries. I always find them so interesting and can relate to a lot of what you have written. The pictures of your scans are great too.

You've been through so much already it hardly seems fair. I hope the 2nd trimester (and third) will be quieter for you, your OH and your LO.

How old are your 2 boys? Have you told them about the LO yet?

I look forward to reading more about how you get on in the future. Take it easy.

my boys are nearly 4 and 2, they know about the baby
when i ask my youngest where is the baby he lifts his own top up and rubs his belly.. how cute is that..

Well today im back to work after 9 days holiday, really not looking forward to it, before i left i asked them to get me some maternity tops as i can no longer squezze in my shirt.. lets see if they pulled there fingers out and got me some,..

Felt baby kick again this morning but it was so different to how he kicked before,

Lovely to read your diary and I'm sorry to hear you've been through so much already - you must be furious with the hospital. Have you taken the issue any further?

That's so sweet what your little one does when you ask where the baby is. I bet they will be so happy when the baby is born. Not too much of an age gap for them either so they are all bound to be close. That's lovely.

My son is 17 so he he'll have a bit of a job relating to the baby but I'm sure he'll be just great. He loves little ones and is very patient.

I hope you had an easy day back to work - and how did you get on with your T shirts? Did you get a maternity uniform to wear?

grr i am back from work, i knew full well they wouldnt have got me any tops to wear, im so frustrated, now do i go on strike lmao till they get it sorted.. I have 3 male managers, do they think my shirts will stretch.. Asked them to pull there fingers out yet again and im promised its on the job list for tommorrow, yeah we shall see..

Thanks for the postings girls, and i hope i have a stress free pregnancy from now on too...

Well last night wasnt a good night for me to say the least, things got heated and ive been up all night

To top it all off i havent felt baby move since 2 am this morning and normally he kicks for england, going to see how the day fades out, and if no movements i shall be ringing the midwife..

Im supposed to be at work at 3pm, dont think i will be going, im going to get in a hot bath cos that normally gets things moving..

Will keep u posted with any news..

Sorry to read you had a bad night. I don't blame you for wanting to give work a miss today. You are probably really shattered.

*fingers crossed* I'm sure the baby is just having a little rest and will be active again soon. Let us know how you get on if you do give the MW a ring (it won't hurt to check will it?).

just contacted midwifes, they want me to go so they can check things over etc, as i still havent had any movements....
and contacted work, they wasnt best pleased to say the least...

Hi, well im bck now, baby is fine, heart beat is 140-150 bpm, took her 10 mins though to find it, god i was so scared.. then the little moneky moved as if to say im TRYING TO GET SOME SLEEP SO LEAVE ME ALONE

I have an appointment today at 9.25am,

Going to discuss the option of getting sterilised when this baby is born..

Is there any other mums who have had this done and can you give me any advice, i have the children i want, im 25 really dont want any more..

Let you know what they say when i get back, wish me luck!

Well, i am back and they have put my due date back... which this will be the 3rd time now, so now i havent a clue when my baby will arrive lol..

They say its due 3rd august now, so its back by a week...

I have to go back at 28 weeks to talk about having a sterilisation and the possibility of a section, they want to do it all together,
Must admit im not looking forward to haveing another section but if it prevents me from having any more children, then why not!
Also i have just found out that on my last pregnancy my placenta was about to abrubt, so its a good job they delivered him when they did,
Keeping an eye on things this time wahoo..
Keep you posted to any more appointments or if i decide to have a 4 d scan done...

Shame you got put back a week but so long as LO is ok that's all that matters I suppose At least you get to enjoy being pregnant a bit longer.

I also have to go to see the consultant at 28 weeks to discuss possibility of c-section. I had one with my first coz of pre-eclampsia. Strangely enough they found the placenta had died 5 days before the c-section then. So, we've had similar experiences.

I'll have to let you know how the 28 week appt goes... oh and the 4D scan!

On wednesday i started to get some really bad pains,
doubled me over some of them, left it for an hour before contacting the midiwfes, i was told they would ring me back shortly..

Waited all day still no call back, had a long soak and went to bed, through the night pains got bad again, i was getting really worried now as i have had a early baby before, and i didnt think the midwifes were taking me seriously, well they cant of done not to contact me back..

Anyway 11am went to the hospital on thursday, still in pain, it was really hard looking after my children and coping with every day life whilst in this pain.

Hospital said i wasnt in labour which was a good thing cos its too early, but they did say i had a water infection and thats what was wrong.. Grr i know it was only a water infection but by heck it hurt..

Was given some antibiotics and watched for a couple of hours to see if the pain settled, they did and now im pain free,

Hopefully this will be last hard time in this pregnancy, but at least i now know what to look out for with certain pains.

Went home and chilled in the bath last night and baby was going beserk lol..

Thats it.. nothing else to say really..
