Finger Foods?

Olivia is 6 months today, recently i have been trying her with finger foods, like a rusk or something!

She will hold these finger foods but she wont ut them to her mouth, is she being lazy or am i pushing her to early?

Ellis has been having finger foods for a few weeks now but he dont really eat them just sucks them a bit and throws them haha

he has had... cucumber, peppers, carrots, celery..... and in one week when he turn 6 months i am going to try toast.

Does he put it to his mouth his self? how did u get him to do it?

Olivia will suck it if i put it to her mouth but wont put it to her mounth herself!

what if you pass it to her? its instinct for whatever they hold to put in their mouth will she take it off you if you hold it out to her?

Or if you show her, say you take a bite first then pass it? would that work hun?

She does take things off me when i pass them to her, but doesn't put things to her mouth only her fingers!

I will try the biting thing then passing it to her tomoro see what she does!

Olivia doesn't do that she doesn't even put her dummy to her mouth!

The only thing she puts in her mouth is her fingers they are always in, even when she has got her bottle in her fingers try to go in

Maybe she is just being lazy then lol

We went to a mother and baby group called Rhyme Tyme yeasterday and Olivia a shker to her mouth

Maybe we are getting somewhere lol

I know its a stupid thing to get excited about but i have been racking my brains wondering why shw wont put finger foods to her mouth
