Did you find out the sex of your unborn baby?

Yes, at least I hope I have

I couldn't wait to find out, I think it depends on the kind of person you are.

OH and I open our Christmas pressies on Christmas Eve we are so impatient, so the idea of waiting for anything when I don't have to does my head in!

I also hated the idea of the sonographer knowing something about my baby that I didn't know! Daft, I guess.

They reckon it's about 50-50% of people want to know early now, don't they?

I didnt find out with my 1st but will be finding out on this one..

No i wanted a surprise. Everybody kept tellling me i was having a boy though and i was thinking maybe it was a girl. Turns out everyone else was right :?

Hiya Rach

I was dying to find out - But Hubby said no, so we had a surprise.

I must say, I'm so glad we didn't find out as it kept everyone (including us) guessing right up until we checked between Ky's legs!

It's so so hard not to find out though - It was so tempting - Especially as I had a few scan on my own without Paul there!

I am so glad we didn't find out. Mind u where I live u have to pay 50.00 if you want to find out they will not tell you otherwise. Even so now I don't have long to go it is exciting wondering what it is - also think it is exciting for rest of family when hubby rings up to say 'its a .....'
When my friend found out we knew babies name and everything before she gave birth and in my opinion it kind of took the shine of the big day although she could buy some mega bargains in the sales.

I can't wait to find out! i get to have a scan at 19 weeks and can hardly contain myself! I think it might be a boy but maybe that's because I have always imagined I'd have a son. I think it will make everything a lot more real when I know the sex and I can name them and buy sex specific things!

I was itching to find out the sex...I'm so glad we did... I feel closer to her now. :D

I didn't find out with my daughter, and up until about week 14/15 of this pregnancy I didn't want to know either. I thought it was a bit like finding your Xmas pressies early when you were a child and sneaking a peak. It sort of spoiled the surprise on Xmas day.

But then I started to think about it more and DH was so convinced that he was a boy that we decided to find out to give him 20 weeks to get used to the fact that it was possibly a girl!! He was right, we are having a boy!! :D :D I am now so pleased that we did find out because we both feel closer to him. I've also bought the cutist little football boots!!!
