Hello everyone!!
Seems like an eternity since I have logged on and from the number of posts I have missed (over 3500) it must be. I obviously won't have time to go through them all, be lucky if I can finish this post (!!) but just wanted to say congratulations to all new mummies, good luck to those of you who are coming towards the end of your third tri and hello to those of you who have recently joined us...
As for me...thanks for all your congratulations My beautiful Lucy Olivia is now 6 weeks old. I have tried to post a piccie as promised but have no idea how to do it as I am a complete techno-phobe. I know it's something to do with photobucket?? So if anyone can help??
Lucy is such a good baby, she is a constant joy and after the terrible time I had delivering her, I can safely say she is well worth it. The only blip in her so far short life is that she was diagnosed with a dislocating left hip when she was 2 days old. As a result of this she has been placed into a pavlik harness which she has to wear 23.5 hours a day to keep her hip in place and encourage the joint to deepen. She is progressing well and has to go back next week to have a scan, we hope it's only to be a short term problem so fingers crossed. I was more devastated than she was especially as she has a huge wardrobe of clothes she has never worn (she can only wear dresses and skirts...no pants)
Better not prattle on any longer. Hopefully I will have a chance to log on a bit more frequently now that things have quietened down a bit after Christmas and New Year.
