Finally decided to go for no 3 - now terrified!!!

Hi everyone

My hubby and I have decided after weeks of talking to go for it and try for baby no 3 starting August 😁 but literally since that very moment I am TERRIFIED! Is this normal?? I don't remember feeling it the 2nd time round! I have 2 beautiful boys and was lucky to have straight forward pregnancies/labours. I'm so scared of doing it again filled with what ifs etc. it hurts! Allot!

I'm a worrier by nature but I want it. Oh man why isn't the stork real

I think number 3 is a far bigger decision than number 1 or 2. We have just made the same decision and this is our first month of trying. DD is 5.5 and DS has just turned 3. I'm frightened cos everything is gonna change. Everyone I speak to seem to think 2 children is normal, and as I have 1 of each I have the perfect family. It might be perfect from the outside, but we don't feel complete.

I think 3 is the hardest decision too due to cars bedrooms etc I think there is such a big thing of two is normal and I only ever wanted 1. Had two to give my son a sibling and that was the best thing I could ever have done as DS2 is adorable and now I think a third would make us a proper little gang
Everyone I've spoken to who are in their 50s etc tell me they wish they'd had more but at the time things stopped them. After talking to a teacher today who said she should of but she left it to late I'm feeling better about things. I want it. It's just fear. It won't be easy but it'll be worth it x

I agree going from 0 to 1 and then 1 to 2 children were easy decisions. Adding a third to our brood is scary. Do we have enough bedrooms and car space can I control 3 kiddies if they all decide to play up lol

But I have this desire to have 3 regardless of all my doubts. We will be ntnp from August hopefully (breastfeeding so no periods yet). My boys are 3 in 2 weeks and 9months. xx
