Fertility after Colposcopy

Hi Im new to this whole forum business and hoping someone could help.

Me and my OH have been TTC for almost a year but had to put BD on hold for a couple of months. I had my very first cervical screening in Nov last year which came back abnormal (CIN2) so i had to go for a loop diathermy (where they burn away abnormal part with a wire loop of some sort ) but the nurse didnt really give me any information on what it would do to my fertility or if it would affect it at all.

Please can anyone shed some light and stop me going totally crackers

Hmm - i'm sure Maybe Baby had one of those

I can't remember her mentioning it having any effect on her fertility, i'm sure she said it wouldn't.

She is starting clomid soon but i think that is for her irregular cycles.

I'm sure she'll be around soon enough and if not, you can send her a PM - i'm sure she wouldn't mind

Hello, I had that too and concieved my second child with no problems at all. I did ask at the time and the doctor said it should have no bearing on concieving at all. Hope this puts your mind at rest. x
