...can anyone tell me if this was the baby shifting about or if its still too early?

On my train journey home yesterday I started feeling really uncomfortable, my back started hurting and the top of my ribs were aching slightly. I was sitting down but couldn't get comfy at all. Then I started feeling a bit sick, like motion sickness but it only lasted for a few minutes with my tummy feeling like it was spinning. My dh picked me up from the station and by the time I got home a few minutes later I felt fine again.
Normally my backache stays with me for a while so I was just wondering if this could have been the baby moving about into a funny position? or am I just being silly and it was just good old fashioned sickness?

Everytime i went on a bus...

My baby would kick me and make me feel sick

Once i had to actually re-swallow my own sick to stop myself spewing everywhere
(Sorry for the detail)

oh no, I hope my baby doesn't develop an aversion to tube travel as I'll be in trouble!

Sounds like what i've been getting for weeks, when i'm sat down i feel very travel sick and stuffy and uncomfortable, it doesnt matter if im in car or watching tv i still feel it, and when she rolls i feel sick, and like everythings being suished back up. Unfortunately its only been getting worse, im hoping she'll fun outta rom soon lol.
I also get the back pain and no amount of moving makes it go away.

At 17 weeks baby isn't anywhere near your ribs. About 22-24 weeks LO is about up to the bellybutton IIRC. Of course things are squishing up a bit still.

I'd not worry overly about it, could have been a bit of motion sickness or just stomach being squashed up when you were sat down and LO wriggled.

Thanks guys. Not really worried about it was just curious if it could be this yet or not? Maybe I just ate too much yesterday and everything got squished up!

Hi hun
i had a bit of motion sickness at this time if i got up t quick id feel dizzy
i began getting fluttering feeling of the baby moving at 18 weeks but the and a week later i had uncomfortable feeling where i had to stand up as my stomach felt tight.i felt it at this stage as im small stature and have less space in there.
its nothing to worry about
