Fell Pregnant Really Fast

Hi All

Jist a bit shell shocked - fell pregnant within three weeks and I seem to bout 5 weeks gone. Hubby and I are really happy but not telling anyone until I have had my scan to know that everything is ok!!!

I have never been so tired in my life and I have a horrible taste in my mouth - after seeing what my friends have gone thru tho I'm hoping that this is a bad as it gets (I think that is called denial)

Awwww congratulations my dear and welcome to the world of pregnancy where no book can prepare u for what really happens week by week.
Do as ur body tells u.
Sleep when u need to sleep.
Eat when u need to eat.
Drink loads of water.
Take pregnacare tablets everyday after a meal.
Don't lift anything too heavy (straining is not good for u or baby)
And most importantly try and relax. Don't think about it too much.

That's all the advice I can give.

Thanks guys!!! Have just watched the new advert on the telly for ikea with little kittens and cried all the way thru it - my mood is all over the place!!!! Trying hard to relax and will be making an appoinment at my GP first thing tomorrow cause I found out I was pregnant the day that I was flying out to Turkey for my happy hols!!!

I love this forum and think that I will b using it a whole lot over the next few months

V shocked misty - I honestly thought that I would become one of those people who would become obsessed with it and it would take months and months of trying, but it was clearly not meant to happen like that. Had my dr's appointment today so that i can be referred on to the midwives so feeling pretty good today. I feel like I have been dreaming this for the last two weeks whilst i have been on my happy hols so i did another test when i came back just to make sure, after two positive tests you would think that it would have been obvious eh!!!
