So I am two weeks post-birth now. I was really lucky in my delivery and suffered no tears or cuts, just one slight graze which made it hurt like hell to pee but that's healed now :) the thing is I feel like I've been kicked by a horse in the front of my foof - nowhere near where LO popped out! It gets really bad when I go from a sitting to standing position or when I'm sat on the loo. I'm walking like John bloody Wayne with the pain of it and have no idea what it is :( has anyone else experienced this or know what it is? Will it go away? I keep forgetting to ask the mw!

Thanks in advance ladies xxx

Yes, i had this hun. So weird!! It does go away though, think it lasted a couple weeks with me xx

the ligaments in your pelvis go stretchy when pregnant and then get stretched when you give birth - they will feel tender/painful for a while, but it should ease up soon - if it's too bad mention to your midwife they may be able to give you some kind of support belt while it heals.

My foof felt really heavy after birth.

When I sat on the loo I swear it felt like my insides were going to fall out! I used to hold a tissue to myself and then it would go away.

Having a baby gives your poor body such a battering.

Mention it to your MW if your worried hun

I've been discharged from mw now :/ can always go and see gp though if I need to. Thanks ladies xxx

Yep my bits feel like that sometimes and the tops of my thighs. i had spd in my pregnancy and still have it now.

I never had SPD or any pain there at all when pregnant so its totally weird! Xx

I know i didnt expect to be still suffering 6months on lol.

maybe your just sore after the birth? or its hormoans? mention to your doctor x

yep...i used to feel like everything was going to fall out...did last about 5/6 weeks xx

I had this and put it down to bruising. It lasted about 6 weeks I think.

I had a csection and felt it too. Was like really bad period ache but in one place. Its pretty much just everything attempting to return To normal. Felt like spd pains for me too. Paracetomol and a wheat bag were helpful. Xx

Sent from my BlackBerry using Tapatalk-its rubbish tho so can't see tickers or upload pics!
