I have been ttc for 6 months now, today im just feeling fed up of it all. im 11 dpo, i have zero symptoms of any maybe pregnancy, my temps are stable so no raising temp pregnancy symptoms, cervix moved low now. quite clearly going to have af soon.. im just feeling super FED up! of it all. ill be cycle 7 next month, im bored of keep trying and not getting anywhere.
is there anything at all i can do to help myself conceive? i take zinc, folic, i have near 100% vit c a day too. hubby takes wellman conception. i know people take longer to ttc but i have never used any birth control to mess about with cycles or hormones either, i have near 100% perfect regular cycles as well (32 days).
thanks for reading (feeling fed up and down)

Feel your pain and believe me on this forum you are far from alone. Around 6 months was where I started to hit a wall....but somehow we find ways to carry on. I'm on cycle 13 now and awaiting my first hospital appt to check me out. Hubby had sperm analysis and all fine.

Sadly it seems this game can just be cruel and there is not always a reason to the time it takes. It's almost like throwing a dice....sometimes it spins the wrong way but eventually if you throw it enough times the law of averages says it will eventually fall in the number you want.

That's pretty much the only reasoning I can offer as any comfort. And wish you baby dust and luck cos this def is a game where a fair bit of luck plans a part x

A healthy couple takes up to a year to conceive so you need to be patient. Have you tried the SMEP plan? I caught on my 7th cycle, first time we tried SMEP. Basically have sex every other day from CD8 then when you get a positive OPK (or EWCM) do it 3 days in a row. Skip a day and do it one more time just to be sure.

Other than that... Do proper exercise 3x a week, eat your 5 a day, don't drink/smoke, make sure you're not under or overweight, get 8hrs sleep every night, try to limit stress... make sure your hubby does all these things too! It really can just be a waiting game. Good luck x

Hey Kristenann,

yup, totally feel your pain! I remember my first few months of trying and every month that went by I got more and more worked up! we're now deep into year 3 and about to start IVF this summer, which even though im nervous about, im also really excited as it finally feels like we're moving forward.

I have to agree with winterwolf, make sure you're both healthy and keeping fit etc and try to eat as healthy as possible, it can just be a bit of a wait as Nikki said but hopefully you wont have to wait too long for your BFP :)

I'm sorry it's taking so long for you, have you tried SMEP?

Remember your most fertile day is ovulation day but even then the chance of concieving that day is only around 30%. You will get there! You just need to keep trying :)

I've seen people on here so many times where they've taken a month off from 'trying' and gone on the NTNP route and concieved first time. Maybe taking the pressure off could help? Xxx

This might sound tenuous but worth mentioning I think. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which can cause fertility issues
Mentioning because the symptoms are very easily dismissed as part of life! (Tiredness, weight gain, irregular periods, hair loss). It's diagnosed by a blood test so it's straightforward. Really easy to treat too!
Another thing to mention - it says in my Pregnancy Encyclopedia to go to your GP if you're over 35 and have been trying for 6 months.
I wish you the best of luck. X

it took me a long time with my first. Even a year isn't particularly unusual. Try not to get upset or disheartened, it will happen x
