Was at midwife appointment yesterday and I suddenly felt very old.. so many young mums and mums-to-be there waiting to see the midwife..

I am gonna be 37 on Monday and I am really getting sad about it.. worried that I will be the oldest mum at the school gates etc etc...

Sorry- maybe I am just feeling sorry for myself... i am so thrilled to be finally on the way to becomming a mum after all that ttc has thrown at me but with another birthday looming I tend to get a bit depressed :(

I know that I am glad I waited cos my OH is defo the right person for me and I don't feel old most days but I guess I just worry about stuff too much!!

Ignore my self pity!!

oh you're not old at all!
Stop moaning

Are you kidding!!! You are not old. Don't worry about it. I am nearly the same age as you and I think of myself as an average age mum.

Old! not at all there are plenty of women much older than you that have kids. I just think of it as when your l/o is 10 you will be 47 when it is 20 you will be 57 and that seems perfect to me! Plus as you say you are having a child with someone special and that counts more than any thing as it will be brought up in a loving family. Now silly you are young and happy and thats all you need to worry about. x

Im 24 and im about to have baby sisiter lol. My mam is pregnant again 19 years after my youngest brother!

She is 44 and doesnt feel too old. :D

I had a client in the other day who is pregnant she is 41. Your not old its just different people feel ready/meet right guy at different times. I dont think there is an average age these days, I know we are all a good mix of ages on here. At least you have a good bit of life experience to pass onto your baby, thats a good thing!! :D
