You are nearly there. I was only able to sit on a birthing ball towards the end of my pregnancy. Don't worry before you know it you'll be sleeping on your tummy too (well it will take a little while).

I felt a bit funny (not myself) on the day I went to labour so hope you are near your big day. Loads of labour dust flying your way....

Aww Dannii -

If it is any consolation my first sweep didn't work either...even though the midwife was CERTAIN I would go into labour within a few hours... :?

You have every right to feel down & grumpy. And I'd be annoyed at not being able to comfortably slouch as well. Grump away my dear.

Aww, I don't know what to say that the others haven't

gah,:talkhand:
ive had this off peters mum... i myself am getting induced friday :cheer: and she keeps saying
'it took x amount of days for it to work with me when i had the boys, mondays more realistic dont get your hopes up' why cant people with nothing nice or hope filled to say just keep their frigging gobs shut instead of pissing over my chips!
hoping to get a 'decent' sleep tonight so i am refreshed for tommorow night. like that gonna happen!

Hope you are feeling a bit better now hun. Not long to go now. You have been so patient and done so well. You will be holding Evie before you know it and this will all be a distant memory.
Keeping my fingers crossed that labour starts tonight for you

Thank you ladies  You're all so great!

I'm feeling a bit better now. There is nothing I can do  It'll happen when it happens. If before Friday, brilliant! If not, at least I know things will kick off Friday (even if I don't have her til Sunday), it's nice to know she'll be on her way.

I just had a funny thought. Think how far away our LOs are from the outside world... A matter of inches, and yet it takes so blinkin' long for them to finally arrive once labour has started! Crazy!! xx

Hehe! I thought that towards the end! With all the worry at that stage, and I thought, what's the deal, he's only right there!

You know its funny I was saying to Joe yesterday that people always say "when babies here" etc but shes already here, just hiding behind a bit of skin! Joe said I know wouldnt it be wicked if you had a see-through belly!! Erm....?????? NO lol hahaha
I was watching Happy N'ever after with the kids and she was kicking! It was nice like she was trying to see what was going on on the tv!! :D

Hey Dannii,

You've still got tonight, today and tomorrow night!!! Don't worry, your body will do its stuff when it's ready. I remember when I had my first I'd had no signs whatsoever up until I went to be induced at 11 days over (and got sent home) and I really didn't think my body was ever going to go into labour - thought there must be something wrong with me!!! It is really difficult to imagine what is going to happen when you haven't been through it before but it will!!!

Whatever happens with your labour and birth, your pretty certain to have little Evie fully evicted and in your arms by Sunday at the latest, and then all this suddenly won't matter anymore. As someone else said, enjoy the peace and quiet and savour the sleep whilst you can :)

Danni... I felt like this just before I went into labour... I felt really low and miserable,.... fingers crossed its for the same reason hun

awww hun    sorry you didn't have a good day yesterday!

hope your feeling a bit better today darlin, and hopefully you'll be holding Evie very soon

aww Danni

hope your feeling a little better, think postitive, Evie will be in your arms ssoooo soon now, and she'll look into your eyes and know your her Mummy.

i know its easy for me to say, hope yourok sweetie... xxxx

Aw, Dannii, I know exactly how you feel - but try to stay positive, I found that by the day of my induction I was really ready / excited and hyped - you'll go into that hospital on Friday and you know that the next time you see daylight Evie will be in your arms!

Hi Dannii,

Know exactly how you feel, I even said to my 8 yr old daughter 'its a shame you can't remember being in my tummy, then you could tell me why the hell you didn't want to come out'

I do feel like a failure, why doesn't my body do what its supposed to, I imagine most ladies feel that way. But, it really really doesn't matter how you gave birth when you hold the baby for the first time. And all those feelings of dissapointment, frustration and anger just disappear.

Try and keep a hold on whats going on though IF you are induced, you don't have to have the drip for example, I demanded no drip and no waters being broken with my middle daughter and got the most natural birth of the three, it was brilliant.

Anyhow, I'll stop wittering on.

Good luck, from a mum whose hoping and praying for 4th time lucky :rotfl:

Sorry you are having a bad day hun  try to keep positive, I have a feeling that Evie is going to come by herself before your induction tomorrow :D

Xxx
