I dunno whats wrong with me, I just feel so overwhelmed with this whole business thing, nothings gone wrong really. I just dont have any money, and my mum asked if I wanted to borrow £500 and they dont mind lending it to help me get my business up and running, but then she asked me to make a list of stuff Id need to start up. SO I set to it, just putting the basics, and I found a 2nd hand assessment, and its come to a grand!!!  I feel like afool that I ever expected to be able to do this.

OI MISSY! we are incredibly proud of what you have achieved so far and you CAN do this! If your parents are happy to lend you the money, talk to them with a list and see if you can come to arrangement with them. They clearly want to support you which is awesome. Yes maybe you should have realised this earlier, but we are ALL human, its hard to take everything into account especially given the move, LO, FOB and everything else you've had to deal with, I think given all that you've done amazingly! You can do this hun, you've already got a lot in place! What you need to go is not just plan the outgoings but look realistically at your incomings when you get started, how many kids per class, what classes have you got sorted etc etc. Find your mojo again and see that you can make this work, convince yourself and then everyone else will be convinced! I am and I've only seen a letter and application form! xx

Dysco has said it all chick ... just wanted to throw in a wee hug :hugs:

It must be so overwhelming at times, all I can suggest is take a step back and look at the positive things you've achieved so far and focus on those, and push the negatives to one side for a minute to give yourself several pats on the back.

I still consider myself relatively new to the forum, and don't know you that well, but I think you are amazingly brave and a total inspiration!

thanks girls. I think youre right Im just focusing on the negatives. Need to get a grip and plough on, I just hate borrowing money, I dont want to be a burden

I can really see how you don't want to ask, but its temporary. Any new business needs a bit of start up capital. Its a short term loan that you will pay back. your parents are investing in you and you will succeed for them. I know you can do it

Hope I'm not being harsh hun, I genuinely think you can see this through!

Hey you, don't focus on the negatives, you will get there - you've already got interest in what you're setting up and that's only going to get bigger!

Thanks girls, I just spoke to my dad and he said yep whatever it takes to get me going is fine by him

Yay good on your dad.

Take a deep breath and relax. You'll be fine hun you have the determination and spirit :D
*hugs*

Although I haven't actually told him how much money I'm talking about

Hun youve come so far in the last few months you should be proud of yourself! Nice that your dad is willing to help xx

Aw honey :hugs: I can't add anything to what's been said but you are an inspiration honey! You have done so much and come so far! Focus on the positives :)

I was updated on your new business venture in the GR section - congratulations & well done for making the leap! I really hope it all works out for you - what type of business is it?

On a more personal note, starting up on your own is hard and there are days when you just want to give up as the financial requirements become increasingly depressing but it really is all worth it in the end! x

I started my own business 6 years ago and whilst it was tough at the time, all my hard work and commitment has really paid off and I'm so glad I did it. Good luck Hun xx
