Feeling sick - how soon after TTC?

Hi! I'm fairly new here so a little back story - me & my husband have been TTC for nearly 10 months so not long however I came off the pill last Aug and haven't had a period since. Went to Gynaeo this Aug and she said it's likely due to over exercising, so I've cut waaay back and last month have a 'mini period' (very light brown CM which my doctor thinks is my body getting back to normal).

I counted my days and figured out I should be ovulating right about now, and judging by my CM I am. I also had some really old short sharp pains in about where my right ovary is, which I had last month too. So we tried last night...this morning I woke up feeling fine, went to work, and then about 9am I started feeling really awful sick. It got worse, and has now hit just a 'nausea' type point where I can't be sick but I feel really queasy (not having the best time at work anyway so I've come home). I've managed to eat something without the feeling going so it's not lack of food (which I've had previously...)

I'm in that stage where every little thing makes me google 'sick...early pregnancy?' e.t.c. I even took a test earlier but after more googling realise you obv can't test that soon (!?).
Just wondering if anyone knows how soon after TTC you start to have symptoms? I read sore boobs is generally the first but as I'm a -A cup (flat chested as) I highly doubt I'll have that symptom until I'm 9 months preg...

First of all I want to wish you the best of luck with ttc and I hope this is your month x

If you only just ovulated it is very unlikely that anything you are feeling is early pregnancy; it is just too soon for that. My first symptom was feeling dizzy and getting a major cold! That was maybe 9/10DPO x

ps. I am also A cup and started to get sensitive boobs right after my BFP xx

It takes around 5-8 days from ovulation for a fertilised egg to implant - and that's when you officially become 'pregnant'. Symptoms start anytime after that.

Lots of women get sick on the day of ovulation so it's probably a sign of your body getting back to a regular cycle again.
I wouldn't test until at least 10 days after ovulation. Good luck!

Ooh ok, I thought I was probably being a bit naive and over analysing things. I swear I must of been asleep when they went through all this at school, there's so many things I don't know.
Thank you both! I think with the funny pains I've had I probably am just ovulating but at least its a good sign somethings finally happening.

I get sick with ovulation xxx
