Hi all,

Is it possible to feel ovulation? Yesterday I had a funny feeling in my stomach that I've never felt before, wasn't sore, I was just aware of it and its about the time I should be ovulating so I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever had this feeling?

Thanks,

Jools xxx

mine lasts for 5 days and feels like im wearing trousers that are too tight

This is the first month i felt it,and the pain is still here :x its not the same feeling though, its kind of like burning sensation in abdomen :?

Hiya

I often know when I'm ovulating because of a niggly little pain I get on my left side - It's just an achy dragging sensation. Its ALWAYS the left side of my lower abdomen though.
Many women become aware of a strange sensation around ovulation, but not until they start looking for it!

I've always felt it and get a bit bloated too. Can be quite a sharp pain but I've got used to it now.

Yes it feels like a one sided more focused period pain for me.
But mostly I know i'm ovulating because I have a lot of discharge (almost feels like i'm on) and it goes clear and stringy almost.
If you jump on your hubbie at that time its a good indicator that its baby making time. :D

I'm sure I felt it for the 3 months before I got pg this time. But mine were more like period cramps :)

Mine were like peiod pains too and then I'd wonder why they would ease off and my period wouldn't come for 2 weeks, it took me months of noting down my symptons before I realised I had a 40 day cycle and that I was getting ovulation pains!

Hi

im not sure if i feel mine or if its all in my head lol, but good luck for this month

im very confused as I get these pains in my left side during ovulation but have had a blood test to check im ovulating and apparently im not! he has given me some pills called colmid which apparently help me to ovulate. Cant understand this as I have fallen pregnant before!

I used to be able to feel it too and my bloods showed the same!!

Is it Clomid they've given you??

Thats it hayley. " Clomid" not "Colmid"! lol :rotfl:
What did they say to you as I dont like the sound of them! He told me there was a downfall which is I may produce quads, triplets or twins! At least i would have a big family sooner than i think!

ha ha!!
i had looked into it before i went to the hospital.
I believe (can't remember without my piece of paper with it on!)
its 20% chance increase of twins, and 5% chance increase of triplets or above.
So its not like they definately will, but there is quite a high chance that you could release multiple eggs.... I wouldn't worry about that too much though, means you don't need to worry about TTC to often!! lol!!

Laura takes it and from what she's said she's not got any problems TTC (correct me if i'm wrong laura!) but sometimes they prescribe it just to help!!

Sorry chick, didn't actually see that you'd written that!!!

I too ALWAYS get ov pains on the left - very odd!

And, I think your body can gear up to ov hence the pain and then the egg doesnt pop out the ovary. Maybe that explains why you got the pain but didnt actually ov. I posted on your other thread that my mates sister took Clomid for PCOS and got pg nearly straight away

Good luck!
