Hi ladies....sorry in advance for this rant and the (TMI) but I feel so bloody crap atm and wondered if anyone else has experienced this or something similar??

Ok....so AF got me on tues and I didnt manage to get pregnant the first month of trying....ok so I can cope with that I suppose.....but holy heck.....AF is kicking the whatsits out of me.....

Ive never had periods for over 10 years with having the Marina coil fitted due to having severe endometriosis but between yesterday and today Ive had to go in the shower 5 times, had 3 pairs of jeans totally soaked through, 2 pairs of PJs and every time I stand up its like a tap is being turned on and blood is just coming away like its not going to stop!!
I have had to use 4 'always super' pads at a time and now Im having to use 2 Tenna incontinence pads and Ive just went through another pair of jeans!

I used to have really bad painful and extremely heavy AF visits before Marina coil was fitted but I can ever remember being so heavy like this that its literally running down my leg as I get out of the shower!

So sorry ladies for the graphics but Im really down as its only my first proper AF since coil removed last month and already I feel like I want to get my coil back in and give up....yet I know thats not at all what I want....does it get better and is this amount of bleeding usual after being on BC for so long especially Marina coil?

I feel like im being a right winge already but along with having ME and being in a relapse atm....AF visits this bad are just knocking me off my feet completely!

Thanks for reading xxx

I'm really sorry you're having such a terrible period. That bleeding sounds really really bad, have you spoken to your GP about it?

Hope you feel better soon!

:bunny: xx

Hey flopsy thanks for ready and replying...... No ive not yet spoken to GP about the bleeding as I know it can be irratic after coil removal but I honestly didnt expect this! Im going to see how it is tomorrow and ring her as although I know they can be heavier etc Im sure this amount of loss isnt normal.... xx

Wilmaflinstone - I had the Mirena too.. had regular periods all the way with it (for the 5 years I had it in) which apparently is unusual? Anyway I had it taken out in October 09, it changed my cycle by 2 weeks, always was the end of the month now the middle of the month. Last cycle I bled for 3 days, heavier than normal or what i use to get anyway, but just 3 days, had bad cramps too and have never suffered from that before..
Anyway, my point is, that I think maybe you should get to the docs and have things checked out just to be on the safe side?
You said AF came on Tues is it still there now and as bad??

Hey Luna hi and thanks for your reply....have rang my surgery and apparently this is what can sometimes happen after Marina removal....AF still here and just as heavy although being 'padded' up to the hitl has saved us from getting up during the night to change bed clothes thankfully.... They said it should settle pretty soon and its just my body regulating itself....so just got to put up with it I suppose and hope things settle down asap...and fingers crossed AF wont be here next month!!

Thanks again everyone....I will try and stop winging about it all now lol ;-) xxx

i have a magic cuddle! :D ;) my little kiddies that I teach think so anyway

aww hugs hun sounds horrible lets hope you get bfp this month then no af again!! xx

Thanks ladies....me too....said to David today....hopefully it will get easier and lighter each month but hopefully not appear at all....told him to have a word with his 'boys' and tell them to work their magic this month lol ...... fingers crossed for all us TCC ladies ehh xxx

Wilma, I feel for you  I had the Mirena until the very beginning of Jan (obviously as TTC had to have it out) and have had nothing yet - but OMG today the pains I'm getting are outrageous! I kind of want it to "come and be over" but your experience is, unfortunately, exactly what I'm expecting (had problems for years and your current "issues" sound very familiar to my monthly problems ) Bloomin' awful, isn't it?

I hope it settles soon - I wasn't warned of anything of the sort when I had mine removed/implanted and I kind of wish that someone HAD said something

Good luck TTC this month ! :dust: Hope to be joining you! :yay:

Awww, hope it's just a one-off. It'll all be worth it though, when you have a lovely little baby xxx

Thanks wanabe....your right...it will def be all worth it if we end up with a BFP sometime soon.... ;-) ah nightmare toffeepop.....I hope you manage to slip throught the heaviest stuff and things get back to normal for you....god Im sure this is payback for all the years I have let AF visit lol ha ..... had wicked pains today and I have to say normally I have a high pain threshold but its got me floored.....but yes look on the positive side of things at least I know I have still got a chance of getting pregnant.....good luck to you too and I really hope we all see loads of BFP's in the next few weeks xxxx

hi i know exactly what your going through i had the same when i had my mirena coil removed i had the same for about 3 months padded up to the hilt accidents through the night god i was continually washing i actually got really worried and rang the doc and she asked if i was still bleeding and i told her its running down my leg as we speak and she told me that this can sometimes happen when its taken out but on saying that i would always check with the gp for reasurance it is really horrible and my heart goes out to you but now i am regular as clock work and 4 days no problems i hope yours settles for you because its difficult to go anywhere i used to feel it bubbling out tmi sorry but i really could hope things settle for you again take care ...t..xx

THanks TJ....yes it was vertainly a shock to my system after not having AF for over 10yrs...but like a couple of the girls have said it will all be worth it if we get a BFP.....xxx

Well, I spoke too soon, Wilma  I'm right there with you - currently sitting here trying not to scream with the pain I'm in but I have to keep saying "Be happy, your body works..be happy, it's going to be fine" :D (sneezing is a bit of an issue, though...)

 to you, Wilmaflintstone ;) I've had very little sleep and currently on pyjama set number 3...gah! (Poor hubby is about to be sent out to get me some "items" as I can't move :( )

Cup of tea? Hot water bottle? Painkillers? Got loads spare of all the aforementioned, if I can virtually send them to you :)

I have to agree - seeing a "pregnant" on one of those tests will make all this nastiness SO worth while!
