and im not sure why, well i do. My oh's past is something like off the jeremy kyle show but he is a lovely guy but has had a colourful past and now im pregnant I keep dreaming nearly every night that he is going to leave me. I did do a thread the other day ranting about how his mum showed me pics of him and his ex wife which I think may have triggered it off. Im starting to feel quite insecure. xx

 cant really comment except,my sisters bf a v v v 'colourful' past and theyre baby has been the making of him....he absolutely dotes on his daughter. xxxx

Bidsy I think we all have moments like this since before I fell pregnant I dreamt of being in labour and DH not being there. I have told him about these dreams as I've had several now and he's been really good and told me I shouldn't worry wild horse and all that :)

My best advice is have a chat with him as I bottled it up way too long the first time :)

Pregnancy fills you with hormones which have a strange effect and can make any thoughts like this , that you may normally pass off more easily, into something that can unnerve you.
Also your going to be feeling a little roundy at the mo, and that can also not help

Hang in there , all will be fine, just because he has a past, doesn't mean he can't hasn't changed his stripes with you and his baby to be - hun X

I think it's perfectly normal. I feel very clingy to my OH at the moment and this makes me think that he'll find someone who's not got a big belly and is not so needy!! I'm sure it's hormones and I know he is as excited about our new little family as much as I am but it doesn't stop these thoughts sometimes. I also absolutely HATE the receptionist where he works and I'm sure she makes more of a point to talk to him just to piss me off!! (HORMONES AGAIN!!!)

I also feel very clingy to my hubby at the moment and whenever something gets dragged up about the past I just say how inappropriate it is to the person that said it x
