Feeling fed up :(

Hi ladies I've posted in here a few times now. I finally had a period which came back on NYE after coming off the pill (cilest) may 2016 ended up going for scans etc as it had gone over 6 months but all was fine. I suppose I expected my periods to go to a normal cycle but now I haven't had anything and I'm worried it's going to be months again would love to be able to start trying for a baby and I feel like everyone around me is getting pregnant! Just looking for any experiences of cycles when coming off the pill? Oh and I'm deffo not pregnant have tested already. Any advice is appreciated xx

Hi newbie, with my first I came off the oil and my cycles returned to normal fairly quickly.we conceived after a couple of months. I am ttc number 3 and been trying for 4 months now, really hoping for a BFP next time. Good luck and hang in there. It does feel like everyone around me is getting pregnant to but I guess I am just more in tune to it at the moment!

Hey,I came back off the pill (logynon) in October last year but only started trackig cycles since Christmas. My cycles have been fairly long (about 35 days) and periods are very light only lasting a day or so. I was on the pill for almost 15 years so was quite concerned about how my body would get into a natural cycle. Im pretty shocked you didnt have a period for 6 months!! We used condoms until christmas so only really ttc now. I literally know of 11 people pregnant at the moment so I totally understand how you feel in that respect.
My last AF finished 2nd Jan so either waiting on AF to come soon or hopefully a BFP!!

Sorry it's taking so long for your periods to regulate. I don't have any experience but wanted to tell you about my sister in law. She had an ectopic pregnancy 8.5 years ago and has never had a period since, not one. But managed to have 2 babies in that time. It's mental! But shows your body could still be doing something. Are you still trying anyway? Ixx

hi I am sorry to hear its taking so long for your cycles to regulate I was about 6 months after coming off the pill before I was back to normal and then I was at 34 day cycles hopefully it wont be too long for you best of luck to you xxx

Thankyou everyone for your kind replies. Yes still trying but it's hard to track and always so disappointing when I think oh I might be and never am. I am true believer of everything happens for a reason so when it's meant to be it will be but I am so bloody impatient lol. Best of luck to you all on your journeys xxx

I have sort of been in the same situation as you I came off the injection had nothing for over a year I've been under a gynae and she's tried for the last 6 months to force my body to have a period it finally happened but because of all the pills she gave me and I've been waiting since for my body to have one on it's own I'm finally spotting but it's looking like my cycle may now be longer than it was before, it's so frustrating

I came off marvelon (cocp) in Feb 15. Took 18 weeks for my first period to arrive then they slowly got closer together. When my cycle was 30 days (oct 15 so 9 months later!!!) we conceived!

Needless to say not went back on the pill since our wee man was born lol!

Stay positve thought - i like you thought it would never happen but it did!
