Is it normal to feel clingy to your OH around this stage??

I've just sat & cried to him down the phone because I miss him (he only left 30 mins ago) I don't like him being in a different room & when I go downstairs I make him come with me it's like I need him near me constantly which is soooo not like me.

xx

Well, I was really clingy in tri 1 - and now again in tri 3. OH left yesterday afternoon to spend two days away with work (head office is a 3,5 hr drive away from here) and yup. I'm really missing him. At 36+1 I'm also paranoid things will kick off without him here, so this is the last time he can go away like this before baby is here! They're all going out for drinks tonight, but thankfully he has said he will stick to non-alcoholic drinks so that IF something happens he can get in the car and drive here asap. That's put my mind at ease a bit.

I don't think I went through the stage of being clingy. Maybe it is yet to come :)

Yep. I'm a high maintenance parter anyway. Always want hugs. Ha ha. But lately I don't want to let him go. He makes me feel safe. X

Weirdly, mine is out tonight and I am relieved! It's nice to have the house to myself, and dog, and have peace and quiet ha! I have had times when all I want is for him to be round me a lot though, think it's normal. I've been a bit hormonal past couple of days though and he's been more irritating than usual, so tonight I'm happy to not coom his tea, go have a bath and start my new book (without the TV on with some action crap he watches!). I can also watch don't tell the bride without hearing him whinge ;) x

I wouldn't want hubby to have to go away overnight but a couple of hours I can cope with and enjoy (without toddler ideally ;-)). x

Hubby is back in an hour- I've had the nicest, most relaxed night! He could stay out longer for me, I've enjoyed it more than I thought I would! X
