Feel sooo frustrated!

We bough travelsystem at Babies-r-Us in June and because it was so early and we knew we can change our mind, we specifically asked if we can return it if we change our mind. They said yes, of course. So we asked can we return even in few months time and they said as long as box is not opened. Now we found better travel system and went to Babies-r-Us to return previous one. Guess what they said- they can't take it back, because they don't take back travel systems, in case there was an accident and car seat is damaged. We didn't even open the box!!!! Secondly they said they have 7 day return policy. So there is no way we can return it!!! Feel so frustrated, that we were talked into buying it ! Don't trust this shop anymore... :x
 
write to them and say that you feel that you were pushed into buying the pushchair and were told that you could return it as long as you hadnt opened the box.. i would even go back and see if the person still worked there and give their name..
 
We wrote letter to main office. No reply yet and also went to the shop and talked to manager. But they keep saying that we can't do it... I wouldn't trust staff in the shop again.
 
I've bought a lot of stuff from babies r us including a travel system, cotbed, wardrobe and crib without any prolems.

I think it's terrible that you were told you could change the travel system if you changed your mind and now they are not letting you.

It might be worth checking out your rights. I always thought you had 28 days to change your mind and you didn't exactly buy the travel system ages ago and it's still boxed

Let us know what happens. I hope you manage to get the travel system you want. xxx
