Just wanted to say u r not a bad mummy- we all have times when we struggle to cope and u have a lot on.ur plate from the sounds of things hun!!! Try and remember he won't b this way forever and things will improve. So hard I know but try to b kinder to urself hun, u r doing the best u can and that's all anyone can ask!.... I know not everyone gets on with them but a health visitor might b worth a call? When.I was really struggling and feeling low and stressed out over ethans sleep my hv was great and basically came and saw me regularly for a chat or rang me as well as giving practical help/ suggestions on sleep. Just try not to suffer in silence if u keep feeling this way! *big hug* xxx

Forgot to reply to this yesterday, he does have a crib but he's too big for it. I don't know if sometimes he's uncomfortable in the cot as I put him on his back and when I go to check on him later he's on his front, hut if he's just had milk I prefer to let him go on his front himself? So he fell asleep around half 3ish I think yesterday and woke at ten past 5, then went to bed at quarter to 8, seemed settled then 5 mins later crying, so I let him whinge for 15 mins and then went back in, gave him his milk and he nodded straight off after he finished. Then he didn't wake til ten to 4am, apart from a few times for dummu and straight back down... I'm gonna try and put him to bed at 8ish anyway from now on so we can do more stuff and oh can see him, and he doesn't wake us up at 5am... I don't know if I'm just being too soft on him sometimes, sometimes I feel like he knows that after 3,5,then ten mins ill go in to see him which is why I left it fifteen last night. My aunties taking him today so I can't really put a routine in place but I can at least have a big tidy up and big sleep x

I've never even met my own hv she's never been round, one came round when Charlie was a few days old and gave me the red book but thats all I've ever seen of them except when I get him weighed x

Doh, just read you've got some help today. Leave the housework and get some rest.

Tis hard work growing a small person x

Same with my HV ! She's been here once when Harlow was 2 weeks old! Never again! I don't even have her contact details!!! X

Hope ur feeling better today.. Have u tried putting him to bed on his side?x

Ah hun congrats on LO number 2 :) really sorry to hear you're having a rough time... I kinda know what you're going through as Angel can be like this a lot. At the minute she's experimenting with taking her dummy out and crying cuz she can't get it back in properly or blowing raspberries as well and the biggest problem is she will not nap for more than 30-45 mins! That's the bit that really distresses me because she's still tired but she fights it something rotten. Some days this really doesn't bother me I just take it as it comes but occasionally it will drive me mental and even reduce me to tears from pure frustration :( Ah sorry waffling on a bit now, just wanted to let you know you're not alone hun, sorry I haven't really got any advice :( xxxxx
