 everyone.

Im 32 weeks now and every so often i get a feeling like i want to push. Is this normal?

Errrr, are you taking the pi$$?

If not, no it's not normal, I would suggest you give your Midwife a call regarding this.

Hi hun,

It could be so many things, I would say call your MW and just ask, I'm sure it's something as simple as your bowels cramping during a BH or something like that!

 xx

How elegantly put cleo :rotfl:

Ummm this is my first so I have no concept of 'normal' but I haven't felt any 'urges to push'....

Are you sure you're not getting confused with just feelings of pressure lower down, I know I feel pressure if baby's a little lower, a wander round tends to get her off the area though...

If not I suggest calling your mw and explaining how it feels...

i think i know what you are feeling i didn't have it with my 1st but 2nd and this one i have felt alot of pressure down there that feels like i want to push.

its just the way baby is sitting in the pelvis

should be fine though, if you not happy speak to your MW.

Well tried MW and her assistant person and both there phones are switched off.

It may be presure but im not to sure.

In that case, def give the middy a call.....

Let us know how you get on....or we will all worry on here.... :D I'm sure it's prob BH's or bowel related.....

Hope you feel better soon....

Have you got the number for your local maternity ward?

Calling the local DAU for advice may be the better option if you can't get hold of your Middy.

Do you have any pains?

Hun defo get in touch with someone just to check you over.
Hope that it is just pressure.

Are you getting the urge to push regularly or not. Any pains?
When i felt the urge to push during labour there was no stopping my body doing it and it felt so strong.

Not regular no but it is a pushing urge. Sound horrible but its like when you need a poo, but not from that hole  sorry.

I will give the ward a ring see if they can give me any info.

Thanks guys

xx

Rang the ward and the midwife there said it is proberbly just how the baby is liying but to ring if i get any pains with it.

The only pains i get are in the ribs when he kicks them haha
