Mystery appointment

I've got an 'extra' appointment at the antenatal clinic today, when i was seen after my 20 week scan there was discussion about my size and other women in my family being unable to push babies out of our teeny selves! (i'm ALMOST 5ft tall) so they said they would see me again at 32 weeks. Thing is, i have no idea what to expect...a scan, an examination? Has anyone else had a similar appointment around 32 weeks? I shall take wee, they always want wee.

I haven't a clue what they would do My mum is only 4ft 11 though and had 4 kids vaginally so it isn't always a problem. More to do with the size of your pelvis I expect.
I hope the appointment goes ok

Yeh i wud take wee just incase, I used to take it to every appointment just incase lol. Im not sure what they will do to be honest so cant help there but as its to do with size of ur pelvis i presume they will be checking that... somehow... lol sorry not much help Hope all goes ok

I think it might be to do with pelvis size, my mum is 5ft2in but we have tiny hips so there was a little doubt as to whether she'd be able to push us out, but she managed fine with all of us, so im assuming i'll be ok too, plus im taller then her

thanks all, was a bit of a waste of time really. checked BP, said head down not engaged, listened to heartbeat and said byebye! didn't really need to go to hosp and see a registrar for that when the midwife does all the same things. never mind, its my birthday today, been to ikea and off out for curry tonight, yay

My grandmother was 4'11" and had 16 kids vaginally so I don't think it's related to height.
