Feeding frustration...

My lo is coming up to 7 months old now and the last week or so feeding has been awful... He's latching, unlatching, asking for more, latching,unlatching...! Gumming me (has no teeth yet) and making me sore I don't understand, he's usually a good feeder... He's making me frustrated... he is also still feeding about 4 times in the night! I just feel like my nipples are wearing out lol xxx

I found my lo does this when he has teeth cutting through, could it be that?

Oh I don't know... I've been thinking he's been teething for ages now lol yet no teeth... maybe this is it? I tend to rub a tiny dot of gel on his gums before sleep as it helps him drift off... don't find the granules much use x

Try with the gel and see if it helps, they can teeth for ages before teeth actually cut. Do take.off and.say no.when.they start clamping down though

My lo has been a monster to feed for the last few weeks, on off hungry not hungry blah blah you get it.
Her first tooth popped through and a few days later she's back to normal. Well she was second one is due I think so she's been a bit fussy today.

Still no teeth here! And I'm still sore! He still gets distracted and clamps down for a second, I haven't been taking him off though because if I do it when he's not clamping he might get confused iykwim... all these phases, surely they will pass xxx
