Since I stopped breastfeeding I have had real problems with getting lo to be interested in having her milk, she will have a couple of ounces and then refuse any more. I'd been stressing about it and even went to the gp but they didn't seem concerned so I've just been trying not to worry and thinking if she's hungry she will have it and maybe she just doesn't need much.

She's five months old now and her sleep had gotten really good, she would usually be asleep by 8pm and would wake either once or twice in the night for a quick feed and then back to sleep until 7ish. However recently she has started waking up at around 10pm and refusing to go back to sleep. She doesn't want feeding, she is just wide awake! Last night dh tried to get her back down but she wouldn't and so in the end he had her sat on his lap and it took until 1.30am for her to fall asleep. She then woke again at 5am for a feed and of course wasn't interested in her 7am feed so she is down to 4 feeds now.

Also she used to have a half hour nap in the morning and afternoon but the last few days she wakes up after ten mins and I have to get her up. Her lunchtime nap is about two hours but that's because I walk her in the pram.

Has anybody had a similar experience with their lo's and what did you do? I'm thinking that her sleeping has got bad because her feeding is bad so she is waking more because she isn't full, but then again she doesn't even want feeding when she does wake up so I really don't know. Am wondering if it's worth trying her on some baby rice or something instead? I know it's early but if she won't have the milk maybe she will have that?

Sorry for the long post, just getting really tired now and not sure what to do for the best...

My Daughter was formula fed but she kept waking up hungry round 4 months so I started weaning her first with half a rusk mashed with milk and lo and behold she went back to sleeping well :)
