Next question from the newbie! When/how do you change your LOs during the night?

Ie if your feeding on demand and waiting for them to wake up, do you change nappies before you feed or just not bother and just get on with feeding?

I hate to upset Harry kore than necessary and change him during the.night if he doesn't need it.

Any advice appreciated?

I don't change Tyler unless I know he's pooed. Unfortunately thus week he's been waking up just to poo!

Same as Pinkyprincess. I only change her at night if she poos. I also keep the room as dark as possible and don't talk to K at all. I find that way she doesn't fully wake up and goes back to sleep very easily.

I don't change him unless he's poo'd and was always taught to only change before a feed as a newborn not after, whatever happens in that nappy after he's gone to sleep is something I don't want to deal with unless he tells me to lol

That's what I was thinking that better just to leave unless it's a big stinky one!

Always nappy first!! :)

Wakes baby up so ready for feed and they fall asleep on boob so you can put them back down easier.

Try infacol for the wind x

I do nappy first as well, my LO is changed every 2 hrs when she's awake and I don't let her go over 4 even when she's asleep, if she's asleep the change doesn't wake her anyway if I'm careful.

I don't charge Ruby's nappy unless she has had a poo . Xxx

I don't do Phoebe's overnight either unless she's pood or leaked x

i do it at every feed and after the feed... he has a habit of pooing during/after a feed so have found this works better for us! i change it even if its just wee coz he has thrush, might stoip doing that when his thrush has gone though....xxx
