COntractions started again, ...regular and painful. One evening it will be the real deal and I'm probably not even going to realise til its too late to get to hospital!

i know ow you feel went to hospital the other day as i had some turned out to be false contractions too now theyve disappeared for now

Ended up being false again! Yes I had similar with 2nd child hence me not going to hospital with this as I was sent home back then. Too much of an ordeal getting my other children looked after, and getting to hospital which is about 20miles away just for contractions to stop when I get there!
Wouldn't be half as bad if I'd had a show or if cervix had lowered, but nothing. Very annoying now!

Oh Hun. It's terrible isn't it. Your cervix can be high and closed one morning then lower and open by tw afternoon so it doesn't mean it will be forever now.

I wouldn't mind either if I wasn't in constant pain. My cervix has been central and 3cms for a week now and still nothing!!!

It'll all kick off for us soon babe. I have my fingers crossed for all us that are being tortured!!!

Clary sage arrived, it works....in the way of relaxing you. Decided I'm having a curry 2nite....not for baby's benefit but Just I've not had one in ages and watching eastenders then a film. I'm not 'mentally' waiting today, I refuse to! There baby.....can you hear me!!? Lol

Central cervix - does the position (as in from left to right) alter as you progress? Midwife said yesterday mine was slightly to the right and I didn't really ask her what this meant in terms of progress or whether she was simply informing me that that's where it lives! x

I'm assuming so?! I'm ashamed to say I don't really know too much about what goes on down there! She said it was central so that was brilliant? Also 50% effaced. I just figured that was how thick it was so assumed I had another 50% to go? Lol!!! I'll find out more on Monday and I'll be asking questions this time!! Xx

I've actually had a much better day today, now in bed with severe cramps really low down. Had to take paracetamol. Not getting hopes up, but had this the nite b4 I had my 1st child. Oh well, if not hopefully I'll get some sleep instead! Will keep you posted! X X
