Quick question...

You know how you get free prescriptons, dentist etc up to your child turns 1... is it the same for eye tests and new lenses?

My friend thinks my lens for glasses should be free too but I'm not too sure

never used to be when i worked for boots opticians - i used to deal with all the nhs paper work.

was a few years back so could have changed but no one ever mentioned it when i had mine done and i still have friends there so i'm fairly sure they would have said :? (i hope so anyway  )

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

i don't think so i get free eye tests and glasses as i'm on income support i don't think maternity excemption counts tho but you could ask :)

I was wondering this too, so I asked my M/W and she said no.
She said we only get the dental treatment as pregnancy does something funny to your teeth and gums.

u dont get free opticians with maternity exemption, i checked a few months ago when i went 4 mine. bugger!
