Eye colour

Ella's eyes are still blue at 5 months- are they likely to change now- I was expecting green or hazel like mine and daddy's.

I think they can change up to 1 year. I am still convinced zacs are going to change, although I love his big blue eyes! X

Yeah ive heard up to a year too! My LO has gorgeous blue eyes and really dont want them to change now! I think once they gone brown, green etc I dont think they change again x

Well, did u know it's allegedly genetically impossible for 2 blue eyed parents to have a brown eyed child? To do with recessive genes or something. No use to this thread I know but still......

Tegans nearly 4 months and there still gorgeous big blue eyes But both me and daddy have blue eyes xx

Yup brown is the dominant! I have brown eyes and my OH has cracking blue eyes. LO so far still has blue eyes, some days they look a bit brown towards the iris, some days they look dazzling blue, certainly keeping us waiting to see.

How odd, a nice wee mix though. My dad has very odd coloured eyes, sort of grey but I think they changed when he lost his sight.

They can take up to a year to change but usually you notice a difference in the first few months. OH and I both have brown eyes and Sam's were a gorgeous blue when he was born...I kept expecting them to change but they're still blue now Toby's are brown and never really looked very blue x

My LO had a lovely dark blue eyes when he was born!! his have now gone dark brown like his daddy's!! My oh was glad he got his eyes as mine are blue predominantly but change colour depending on my mood apparently!! They apparently go green when i'm angry lol!!!

Noas eyes is almost black, i can hardly see the iris, well i cant unless i look in a surtan light, i was hopin he was gonna get my blue/grey color as it would be wicked on him bein mixed raced

my LO had grey eyes when she was born, they went blue, then green, now they are dark brown! my family are darker than OH's gingers and blondes, ours are the darker black haired side. my grandad is amerindian, so shes obviously picked up that part of the family! but i guess she still could change! x

Kinda same here, except the brown eyes went to my lil bro, along with ginger hair!! That's an unusual one, as he has the recessive ginger hair but ended up with the dominant brown eyes.

I'm dark blonde with grey/blue eyes (though they almost looked green whilst my hair was brown last month lol).

My 2 older boys have gorgeous blue eyes. My eldests father has blue eyes and so does my hubby (father to Dom and Drake) I have hazel eyes and Drake has dark green eyes right now. It's funny as the other boys are lightskinned and blue eyes like thier dads and Drake has dark eyes and dark skinned like me..I love it!

herbie has blue eyes and better keep them lol
my other two have brown eyes like me and herbie looks just like them but with blue so im really hoping he keeps them.
I could tell from early that my other two's eyes were brown so I pray herbies wont change its wired how much more it makes him look like o/h tho just cos of his eye colour
