Me again, sorry!

I was originally going to combi-feed with formula but bfing is so far easier so I want to keep persevering, especially as I am managing my supply (woohoo!).

I'm pumping atm out of necessity but it seems a shame to waste it all so I will probably freeze it. I'm just unsure as to whether to bottle or cup feed. I can't help feeling a cup will be easier than the faff of bottles and I have awful memories of ds1 being really distressed when he first took a bottle.

I'm also unsure as to whether we would need to offer expressed daily or whether it's ok as a once a week thing? I suspect daily, would that be right? Also, does it need to be the same feeds every day or can it be varied?

What are your thoughts/experiences?

I've breastfed 4 mine until a year. I also gave expressed milk. I used TT closer to nature bottles, all of my children took from that bottle no probs and never affected my feeding them myself. Feeding again and will use the same bottles x

I had to express due to undiagnosed thrush which eventually made my little girl so distressed that she wouldn't feed from me. TT bottles were useless for me, milk just went everywhere but I used medela calms teat bottles and they have been amazing - at first I was doing some feeds on the breast still and she had no trouble going between the two as medela calma has to be sucked in the same way they do on the breast for it to work. I just gave her expressed milk whenever it was needed - didn't even occur to me to stick to a particular time or anything. Eventually it became all her feeds but at first it was definitely 'whenever it is needed' approach x
