Hi i am due to go back to work soon but i am unsure what rights you have at work to express breastmilk (if any)
I will be away from my son between 7 am to 7pm (long commute) and i will need to express but my employers are very strict on working every minute and if there isnt a law for mums then i wouldnt be able to express for 10 mins in morning and afternoon if no law on this.
Does anyone know what rights i have

i have a feeling you have the right to express at work. its under the health and safety thing.

you have the same protection at work as yo would a pregnant woman too whilst you are still breast feeding. :)

You have the right to express and there is some wording somewhere on the breastfeeding network website etc about the health and safety implications.... however you do not have the right to be paid while you are expressing. You don't however need to inform them of that, that is for them to find out.
