Not sure where to post this...

Hi again ladies

so CD107 today

still no AF. due to start clomid next cycle. Doctor is still unwilling to give me anything to bring on AF. I took soya isoflavones cd3-7 at rhe beginning of this cycle but they've obviously not worked so decided I would try a little experiment to get AF rolling in.

I have been taking soya isoflavones (200mg), black cohosh (200mg) (and im on metformin) for the past few days. I will take the soya isos for another two days and the Black Cohosh for another 8 and see if I O and and then have a period. i figured its worth trying anything at this point. took an opk this afternoon with diluted urine and this is the result. i will keep taking them to see what happens and keep you all updated!

How about agnus castus? That's supposed to help regulate cycles? Xxx

Ahh right, what about adominal massage? You can do it yourself if you google fertility massage? It's weird because you can actually make alot of difference apparently and I've not heard of many people talk about it xxx

What kind of doctor are you seeing? When I wasn't having proper periods because of hormonal issues gyneocology was very concerned because there are risks of complications if your womb is building up but not shedding.Plus implantation will be difficult if the lining is old and not normal. A regular GP can't deal with this properly...I'd say you need to be seen by a gyno department at a hospital. They nearly gave me progesterone to force proper periods but I lost weight and sorted it out naturally.

Especially if you are TTC they need to sort this out. I was told the treatment plan would have been progesterone to get the periods going and clomid to sort out ovulation. Have you had a scan to see what is happening? You shouldn't have to deal with this yourself!

A friend of mine who was older and nearing menopause went on a paleo diet and it helped bring AF back for a while for her.

The opk is looking good.

Sorry to get ranty, but I went to my GP 10 years ago when I was having AF problems and she tried to deal with it herself and failed...I wish I'd been referred to a gynaeocologist or fertility specialist back then. I think I only got specialist help because I found a GP who was actually a fertility doctor and also had a health scare which got me to hospital. Once you are with a hospital they do thorough investagations and you get what you need.

We are under a consultant at a fertility clinic, just there is a lot of waotomf between appointments. Had bounds of tests, I donr O but usually have 28-34 day cycle. Amd then occasionally ill have a 60dayis cycle. I have lost weight, over 8 stone still np luck. Opk is a little darker again, if this doesn't work ill habe to go to the private clinic again because theNHS appointments take an age! X

Well done on the weight loss - awesome. My cycles didn't stabilise til I got to my normal BMI level (I was 19 stone). Also I had to come off the low carb diet to stabilise hormones as it was way too stressful on my body.

Maybe they think giving you clomid will sort your periods out - ovulating is I think what kicks off the luteal phase of AF. Great that the opk is darker.

I know Maca is supposed to help balance hormones. Don't know if that would help. Fingers crossed for you! xx

Ahh ive tried maca aswell did nothing for me

Ive started inositol again instead o met as i honestly think it worked better for me

Xx

So,

Time for an update, opks, gor lighter then have been getting darker the past three days (still not pos yet).

Althoug, ive taken two the previous two days (just taken one now ans will do one tonight too)

So starting from the 5th from bottom that was 23rd am, 4th from bottom slightly darker which was pm.

Then yesterdays 3rd from bottom was early pm, which was darker again, then after that was evening one which was a little lighter.

Which brings us onto todays which looka darker to me. What do you ladies think?

Could either be O or AF? (Happy with either lol) looks like were heading in the right direction haha!

Had wicked ovary cramping yesterday, kept mw awake was very niggley. Quite achy today too. What do you think ladies?

Ahh hope so, if it is AF i hope she holds off as its OHs birthday on thr 31st haha! 😂

I bet she will show up right on time for that considering its the only day I don't want her after months of waiting haha!

Im not sure if these opks are getting darker or lighter? I can't decide. What do you think?

I don't normally get a visible second line on them at all, ever so i cant tell.

The last two are from today (am and just now)
Any ideas? Xx
