What exercise is everyone doing?

With all the pain I've been experiencing I thought (for some weird reason!) That a full 60 min Body Pump class would help :wall2: I don't know why I thought this would be a good idea.
I'm also nearing completion of my fitness instructor course and haven't done the practical bit yet which I believe consists of dead lifts (HOW?!) and some bench presses at least!

I can barely walk now or get out of bed my back is so bad! I went so hard on the squat track because I think my brain forgot and I got so into it :(

I used to go to the gym most days and I was a dancer at a gentleman's club so I was ALWAYS on the pole and very fit, and now I can't even walk! should I just give up and get fat?!:help:

I'm literally a fat mess right now, help!!
Share some of your pregnancy fitness routines with me PLEAAAAAAASE? The books I have say I should be able to continue as normal although they don't take into account crippling sciatica ¬¬

I have bad sciatica. I’ve been under obstetric physio since 15 weeks. The only thing that helps me is swimming and walking!

I have a puppy and a little girl so walk every day to get us out of the house and some exercise and I do bigger walks (3miles only atm) at at weekend's with my husband and DD

I love walking but I'd imagine that won't help sciatica

swimming? that's the only thing I think would help

The swimming I think would be really good...maybe I'll try some jogging when my back eases up again? I'm sat in bed with my Xbox atm feeling very sorry for myself lol!
I just don't know how to keep the intensity up my body is used to.. I'm going to slip so quickly all my clothes are already tight and it's making me panicky! I suffered really bad body dismorphia before I started working out and got way too skinny.. keeping fit is the thing that stops me going crazy! I feel like I can already grab handfuls of fat ☹️

I'm definitely not as fit as you are but I do kind of understand. I love hiking, full days with a lot of miles and hate that literally as soon as I fell pregnant my body was like "no take it easy now, here's some hip pain and tiredness"

maybe try swimming and then start the other exercises slowly and build up

I feel similar.. though I’m in no way too skinny pre pregnancy but my exercise is my mental release. I used to do daily hiit workouts on my turbo trainer and I just can’t do it because my back is too painful. I’ve found it very stressful. My mum has cancer and the exercise was my way of coping with that worry.

I did climb up scafell pike when 9 weeks pregnant mind, that felt good!

Wow! I'd love to try hiking! I've never really done it..
Yeah I do love a hiit class but I've been advised to stop as lots of jumping and jerky movements arrrrgh! The best stuff is the stuff you can't do lol!
My back is getting better so I'm going to start lightly jogging again a few times a week and perhaps lift some lighter weights.. I've just downloaded this app called calorie counter and it's amazing! It tells you what you're missing and what you've had too much of so I think restricting my calories is going to be the best way for now x
