I couldn't decide where to put this, but since it is about supply, chose here. Sorry if it needs to be moved!

Anyway, I have finally started to go to the gym. I NEED to lose weight. My body fat percentage is very high. How do I know how much I can do and how much weight I can lose before I affect my milk supply? Jacob is starting BLW and I am a little worried that this combined with exercising a lot could lower my supply if I'm not very careful.

I started back at gym when Ellie was 2months. I didn't have any problems with my supply. Though it is best to time it just after feeding not just before, but that is to make sure you aren't sweaty when you try and feed. Go for it, just build your levels up sensibly, don't over do it with respect to your HR, keep working in the cardiac zone. I have a heart rate monitor which I find helps. Good luck
